Мало того, что педаль сама по себе редкая (можно, конечно же взять современный Electro-Harmonix китайской сборки), она ещё и из самой последней (2008 год, 18-я неделя) партии - в настоящий момент производство педалей Electro-Harmonix в России свёрнуто и о возобновлении речи не идёт.

После капитальной прочистки у AZG:
- Установлена новая true-bypass кнопка
- Появился стандартный разъём питания (Boss Style DC Jack)
- Внутри заменены все бюджетные и жрущие звук детали на более качественные
- Заменена внутренняя проводка на более качественную.

У меня есть Electro-Harmonix Big Muff (AZG mod), который я взял одновременно с этим Small Stone.
И там и там - всё сделано по высшему разряду.

Характер звука: обьёмный фэйзер с тёплым и насыщенным аналоговым тоном. Переключатель: true bypass (прямой обход). Эффект позволяет получать звучание медленно вращающихся динамиков (leslie) до массивных пролётов реактивного лайнера и вторжения инопланетян. Хорош как для джаза и фанка, так и для тяжёлой психоделики.

И по звуку, и по схематике SMALL STONE отличается от других фэйзеров и имеет лишь один аналог - MAESTRO STAGE PHASER, в котором был использован тот же принцип разницы двух входных напряжений для получения фазового сдвига.

Sovtek Russian Small Stone is almost 95% IDENTICAL to the latest Eh4800 Vintage Small Stone inside.

The caps are cheap and some mods on the LFO are the only differences. New USA reissues Small Stones doesn't seems to be similar to ther issue J, some values are increased, this makes the USA version more "SWISH" and "NOISY", a little bit sterile compared to a vintage one.

I've got the russian one, and old one at that and it kicks ass. Although when I use max gain and lots of dist my guitar pickups become a radio antenna for my amp XD

I recorded a song once and the guitar parts were recorded with both USA and Russian Small Stones, the phasers phased in and out of each other - I still say it's the best phaser sound I've probably ever heard, and I pulled it off...eek!

I agreee. This makes the charm of EHX pedals and why I love them.
I have a Small Clone, only one knob and a switch, but it is great on my bass.
Moreover, your russian Small Stone seems to sound even better thant my USA small stone...
